Energizer FNL2BU1 is hands free Booklite grey & black in color and is powered by 2 x CR2032 Lithium batteries. It is useful for book reading during night when you don’t want to disturb others’ sleep. One side of its head is a manual slide switch On/Off button and the other side has a 5mm Nichia LED which provides enough light to illuminate the book. Dorcy (product number 41-4281) is good looking designed, strong and based on 1-Watt Luxeon LED. Its output is 80 Lumens of light offers state of the art performance. Dorcy 41-4281 is powered by 3 AAA cells which give you approximately 18 hours of continuous bright light using one fresh set of batteries.

Overall Appearance
Full body is built of aluminum which is hard and though and overall built quality is excellent. The head of this flashlight is bigger than the barrel with built in flat groves. In the middle of the barrel flashlight has screentone texture. On the one side of this texture the brand name “DORCY” is clearly written and the other side there is metal belt clip which is made of stainless steel. The rest of the barrel and the tactical tail switch also have the groves which further improves hand grip and rolling off on a flat surface.

Bezel / Head
The head of the light has groves which prevent anti-rolling on smooth surface when this flashlight is place horizontally. It consists of clear polycarbonate lens. The LED is not properly center in the reflector which show bit dark dot when the flashlight turn on. The lens is recessed in the head which help when flashlight is placed head side down.

LED
The LED used in the flashlight is 1-Watt Luxeon LED from Lumileds and is rated @ 80 Lumens.

Output
The light produced by the flashlight is pure white with ignorable yellow tint. The yellow tint produces a high performance during practical usage. The light will easily light up objects 30 feet away. Warning: Do not look directly into light, eyesight damage might occur.

Switch
The switch is a rubber covered in tail cap and it is small and hard to press. Press for ON, press for OFF. When ON, you can press the switch gently to blink the light. The switch is rubber cap is slightly emerging out of the tail cap which also would not let the flashlight stand on tail cap.

Batteries
To access the battery carrier unscrew the tail cap for the batteries replacement. 3 AAA size batteries (Alkaline and NiMH) require running this flashlight. Battery carrier is solid and the spring/coil are bit hard and hold the batteries tightly. 

Seals / Water Resistance
A rubber o-ring located on the both sides of barrel and the switch is completely water resistant and can be used in wet environment when tail cap are screwed tightly. Caution: Please don’t get me wrong and do not use it while swimming. After all a wet environment is not an under water environment.

Low-Glow
It goes on only in darkness with a low glow to show its location and shuts off automatically in the presence of other light sources. You can set the glow mode off manually as shown in the Illustration 1. This will not affect the function of its sensors.

Motion sensor activated
When its sensors detect any movement it lights up brightly to illuminate your path. Sensors work within 15′ motion range over 270 degrees. Light shut off automatically when there is no more motion after 20 seconds or 60 seconds (depending on the auto shut off time setting) and it finally returns to the Low-Glow mode. You can set the light shut off time setting manually as shown in the Illustration 2. This will not affect the function of its sensors.

Dorcy (product number 41-1467) is based on Lumileds K2-180 Super Flux LED. Its output is 180 Lumens of light. This HARD anodized product is powered by 6 AAA batteries which provide up to 7 hours of continuous light using one fresh set of batteries.

Overall Appearance
This flashlight is a full-bodied Aluminum alloy construction and is anti-corrosion. It is waterproof with extremely HARDEND and TOUGH finish. The tactical head of this flashlight is little bigger than the barrel with built in 3 groves on the lower edge of the barrel to make it good looking and to help give good grip when used underwater. The registered trademark “DORCY” is significantly marked on one side of the barrel. The tail cap has two built in holes for convenient lanyard/wrist strap.

Bezel / Head
The tactical head comprises of “twist on and twist off” function. Just rotate the head of the flashlight to turn on & off to operate it. High quality transparent glass lens have been used which does not allow any impression on it when anything touches its surface to deliver best results when used underwater. A very shiny deep optimized reflector system has been used for maximum light output. The lens is a bit dug in to provide protection in case anything rough hits directly; and also this helps the flashlight to be placed upside down. LED and its circuit are permanently fixed inside the head. Aluminum heat sink has been placed with the circuit to absorb the heat generated by the high power output LED to further improve it’s over all performance.

LED
The LED used in the flashlight is K2 Super Flux LED that offers high-tech performance and it produces up to 180 Lumens of the light output.

Output
The light generated by the flashlight is pure white. Its light throw covers submersible (IPX) to depth of 100 meters (User should keep in mind about his eyesight). The center spot covers around 80% of the light output while using the remaining 20% to provide a bright area around the center spot to illuminate a wide view sphere.

Tail cap
The tail cap is a part of the barrel and is unscrew able. The tail has two holes for convenient lanyard / wrist strap. Bottom of the tail cap is approximately 1cm dug in to provide enough space for the two holes for convenient lanyard / wrist strap.

Batteries
6 AAA size batteries are required to run this flashlight. The flashlight uses a battery cartridge which has a place for 2 AAA size batteries on one side and 4 AAA size batteries on the other side. For the batteries replacements unscrew the head. Take out the battery cartridge; replace the old batteries with new set of 6 AAA size batteries (Alkaline and NiMH). Please note the polarity of the cartridge while putting it back in the body tube. Place the head in its position. Press the head and screw it to make the flashlight ready for action. Note: The head of this flashlight is very tight when you unscrew it for the first time.

Seals / Water Resistance
Two rubber o-rings in the body tube have been placed with a little gap between them to work as double seal. This makes it completely water resistant and has the same effective function in deep waters. The head and barrel are both water resistant.

Ergonomics
The body tube or barrel and the head have groves which make it attractive. This also provides an over all solid grip. This flashlight is very handy especially for underwater operations and can also be used for most kind of flashlight usage.

This flashlight is a full-bodied aluminum alloy construction which is hard and tough. The head of this flashlight is little bigger than the barrel with built in 6 groves. Tail cap

Overall Appearance
The body is an aluminum alloy construction looks seems to be really hard and tough. The head is little bigger then barrel which have 6 grooves on it which helps prevent it from rolling off on a flat surface. The barrel of the flashlight has texture (checkered) body and the same texture on battery cap which gives more grip. The brand name “DORCY” is mark on one side of the barrel. The quality of the workmanship is free from defect in material, and the machining work is really good.

Bezel / Head
The head of the light has grooves which serve as an anti rolling on a smooth surface and more improve grip. It consists of a clear polycarbonate lens, and a smooth shiny reflector. Luxeon led which is rated to produce 80 lumens of light. The led is very well centered in the reflector. The lens is recessed in the head to prevent some protection if the light is placed on its head.

LED
The LED used in Dorcy 41-4298 is one of most high power output LED made by Lumileds. It is the next generation of Luxeon type leds which is named as LUXEON Rebel which is rated @ 80 Lumens. The Luxeon Rebel is its self a very high intensity led made by worlds best led manufacture and can be used by Dorcy even in there low end products to make it the best value for there products.

Output
The light produce the Flashlight is pure white with slightly non-noticeable yellow tint. And has good color temperature. It contains a yellow tint which gives quite good rendition during practical usage. The beam is focused in a medium spot for small to medium range throw and has quite useable wide spill beam. This 80 lumen flashlight features an intense beam of light that projects an output of 100 feet.

Switch
The switch is a rubber covered reverse-clickie in the tail cap. Press for on, press for off. When on, you can press gently to blink the light. Since the rubber cap slightly beyond the plane of the tail cap, the light will not stand on end. You can lock-out the switch by unscrewing the tail cap 1/2 turn. This will prevent accidental activation when packing the light in your backpack or luggage.

Batteries
3 x AAA size batteries are required to run the flashlight Dorcy Master Cell Alkaline are included in the package. The flashlight uses batteries carrier in its barrel, the quality of the battery carrier seems to be very much solid and the spring / nobs are quite unbreakable and hold the batteries tightly. 8 hours estimated run time achieved by using fresh alkaline batteries.

The body is an aluminum alloy construction looks seems to be really hard and tough. Powerlight is a small pocket LED Flashlight available from dealextreme.com. Equipped with straw hat led which clams to 1 watt runs on a single AA cell for about 2 – 4 hours. The LED and reflector not quite well fixed but the light is quite good for its size and power source.

Overall Appearance
The body of the Powerlight is machined aluminum with anodize finish and is available in black and gray only. Although the light is anodize finish but it’s easily stacked out when keep the light with keys or coins in a pocket. The outside of the body has several rings machined into the surface to help with grip and you will also find flat panels around the central area of the body for texture and display of the company logos. The tail cap has a textured area for grip as well as a recessed switch for standing on end and a lanyard attachment point. A lanyard is attached with the light.

Bezel / Head
